Melbourne, Australia. Thursday 27 January 2011. Crown Casino has just announced that they will host the world’s largest poker tournament at a buy-in of AUD$250,000, as part of the renowned Aussie Millions Poker Championship. The event will smash all previous records for a poker tournament buy-in.
Crown is expecting up to twelve high-stakes poker players from around the globe to take a seat at 12:00pm today at Crown Casino in the official TV set ‘Studio 3′, in what promises to be the ultimate battle of the poker impresarios. This is a first-of-its-kind show that will not only take Australia by storm, but the international poker community as well.
Confirmed players to date include Annette Obrestad, Chris Ferguson, Erik Seidel, John Juanda, Nikolay Edvakov, Phil Ivey and Sam Trickett.
