WSOPE Main Event Day 2

World Series of PokerHistory beckons at the WSOPE

After another great day at the Empire Casino in London’s Leicester Square, the World Series Of Poker Europe inches closer to its conclusion. As Day 2 of the £10,000 buy0in main event ends it is Britain’s Ian Munns who is chip leader with 92 players still vying for the coveted Gold Bracelet and title of World Champion.

But making the headlines is not who will win but who could win.

Still in the running there is a chance that poker legend Doyle Brunson could be crowned WSOPE champion!

Or could James Akenhead do the impossible and claim both the WSOP and WSOPE crowns?

Or could Teddy Sheringham score a victory to prove he is a two sport wonder?

Or could Annette Obrestad claim her second WSOPE title?

And finally, could John Juanda do a repeat and retain his crown?

The records are there to be broken and the Poker Channel Europe will be there to keep you posted as soon as the action unfolds.

The whole field began with 334 runners that created the £3,400,000 prize-pool read like a who’s who of the game.
