WSOP Europe Kicks Off In 2 Weeks!
Seating is limited & Changes have been made to schedule of Main Event
The third annual World Series of Poker Europe returns to the Casino at the Empire in London’s Leicester Square from September 17 through October 2.
With four gold bracelet events and two other specialty events, plus expanded table capacity for cash games, the competition is expected to be fierce, and the action non-stop with some of the biggest names in the game confirmed to participate.
Two important updates for players:
• For Day 2 of the WSOPE Main Event, scheduled for Monday, September 28, the start time has been adjusted. For those proceeding to Day 2, play will now begin at 5:30 PM to accommodate those observing the Jewish holiday. Players will play four 90-minute levels on Day 2, instead of the originally designated 6 levels. We still anticipate the tournament playing to its conclusion in its normally-scheduled course. All other days will remain with play beginning at 12 noon and consist of six 90-minute levels.
• Although the flagship London venue, the Casino at the Empire, is the largest of its kind in the U.K., the tournament footprint is still limited. Players are encouraged to pre-register for WSOPE to ensure they get a seat. Registration for WSOPE events can be completed in-person now at any London Clubs International UK property.
Seating for gold bracelet Events 1-3 offers a maximum daily capacity of 252 players. The Main Event, Event #4 on the schedule, can accommodate 216 players each day.
The complete bracelet event schedule is as follows:
Friday, Sept. 18 & Saturday, September 19 – WSOPE Gold Bracelet Event #1 – 12 noon
£1,000 + £60 – No-Limit Hold’em Day 1A & 1B (3-day event/2 start days)
Monday, Sept. 21 – WSOPE Gold Bracelet Event #2 – 12 noon
£2,500 + £150 – Pot Limit Hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha (3-day event)
Wednesday, Sept. 23 – WSOPE Gold Bracelet Event #3 – 12 noon
£5,000 + £250 – Pot Limit Omaha (3-day event)
Saturday, Sept. 26, & Sunday, September 27 – WSOPE Gold Bracelet Event #4 – Main Event- 12 noon
£10,000 + £350 – World Championship No-Limit Hold’em Day 1A & 1B (5-day event/2 start days)
