Roberto Spada from Italy is chip leader as EPT San Remo goes into Day 4. He has 1,441,000. Just behind him is Team PokerStars Pro Max Lykov from Russia who is tied joint second with American PokerStars player Nicolas Yunis.
Lykov won EPT Kyiv in Season 6 and has 1,416,000. French pro Ludovic Lacay is in fifth place with 962,000.
World champion Joe Cada, also a member of Team PokerStars Pro, is currently lying 14th with 701,000 – just behind France’s Fabrice Soulier who came tenth at EPT Berlin two weeks ago. Also through is Team Pro Richard Toth who has 185,000.
A total of 987 players from 57 countries (including 438 from Italy) competed at EPT7 San Remo creating a €4,786,950 prize pool. The winner will take home €930,000 plus a stunning bracelet worth more than €16,000 from EPT Season 7 Official Bracelet Sponsor Shamballa Jewels. The winner will also get a seat in the EPT Grand Final, plus a seat in the Champion of Champions tournament on May 13. 144 places will get paid.
