250 players have survived Day 1a of EPT Deauville from a starting field of 419. The chip leader is French pro Guillaume de la Gorce with 196,800.
Tomorrow’s star-studded Day 1b field is set to include world champion and Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel as well as Viktor “Isildur1″ Blom, Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier and Vanessa Rousso. The €5,300 event is well on target to smash last season’s 768-strong record.
