Perica Bukara Leads Field at PokerStars.com EPT Tallinn

A total of 120 players have made it through Day 1b of the record-breaking EPT Tallinn event in Estonia. The debut Season 7 tourney has smashed all records for an event in Estonia with 420 entrants, a total prize pool of €1,596,000 and a €400,000 first prize. Perica Bukara, who hails from Serbia but lives in Germany, is now the overall chip leader as the event goes into Day 2. He has 210,600, just nipping ahead of yesterday’s leader German Ali Tekintamgac who has 203,200.

Spanish PokerStars qualifier Santiago Terrazas, who came third at EPT Barcelona last season, has 176,300 and is currently in fourth place. The leading Day 1b Team PokerStars Pro is Belarussian Vadim Markushevski with 105,900.

Among the other pros who survived Day 1b are EPT Award winner Katja Thater, Juan Manuel Pastor and Team Online’s Alfio Battisti. A total of 210 players are through to Day 2 including 90 from Day 1a.

The €4,250 EPT Tallinn Main Event is running August 11-16, 2010 at the luxurious Swissotel in the Estonian capital.
