NERGARD LEADS FOR DAY 3 OF EPT7 GRAND FINAL

Norwegian player Ole Kristian Nergard is chip leader as the EPT Grand Final goes into Day 3. He has 726,000, narrowly ahead of 2010 Nordic Poker Award winner Kristoffer Thorsson from Sweden, who has 701,500. Also thriving are American pros Melanie Weisner and and 2010 PCA High Roller winner Will Reynolds, EPT Berlin champion Ben Wilinofsky and Team PokerStars Pros Victor Ramdin, Alex Gomes and Juan Maceiras from Spain.

We played down to the money on Day 2 – all 104 players are guaranteed at least €15,000.

A total of 686 players from 51 countries entered the Grand Final Main event, creating a total prize pool of €6,860,000. 104 places get paid. The winner will take home €1,500,000 plus a stunning bracelet worth more than €16,000 from EPT Season 7 Official Bracelet Sponsor Shamballa Jewels. The winner will also get a seat in the Champion of Champions tournament on May 13.
