Minieri Storms Through in NAPT Bounty Shoot Out


Team PokerStars Pro Dario Minieri has stormed through to Round 2 of the televised $5,250 NAPT Bounty Shoot Out after busting everyone on his table and collecting $5,000 in bounties in just three hours.

The maverick Italian is one of 36 players who will reconvene on six tables today, from a sell-out starting field of 216. Also through are Team PokerStars Pros Greg Debora, Barry Greenstein, Jude Ainsworth and Ville Wahlbeck plus George Lind from PokerStars Team Online.

Other highlights include a sensational comeback by British EPT Vilamoura champ Toby Lewis, who was down to 425 chips but fought back to snag a Round 2 seat and both Bingers are through. Michael Binger (who came fifth in NAPT LA in November) and his brother Nick will be sitting next to each on Table 3 today.

Jeff Madsen, Shaun Deeb, Andrew Chen, Faraz Jaka, Christopher Klodnicki, Johan Van Til, Amnon Filippi, David Baker and Samuel Chartier are also all among the Day 1 survivors.

The players will return in TWO flights. Tables 1-3 will be back at noon and tables 4-6 back at 19:00.
