
British pro James Mitchell, the 2010 Irish Open champion, is the chip leader going into Day 4 of EPT London. There are just 62 players left, all gunning for a first prize of €750,000. Mitchell has 1,071,500, a good 200k clear of fellow Brit Sam Macdonald with 860,000. Spanish Team PokerStars Pro Juan Manuel Pastor, who just bubbled the Estrellas Poker Tour final table in Ibiza a week ago, is currently in 14th place with 475,000.
42 players have already cashed including Team PokerStars Pro Sebastian Ruthenberg who came 76th for £9,000.
A total of 691 players from 52 countries competed at EPT London this season creating a total prize pool of £3,351,350. 104 places get paid.
The EPT London Poker Festival comprises 31 events and is being held at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel from September 30 – October 6, 2011.
