European Poker Tour Warsaw starts this weekend

The European Poker Tour stops off in Warsaw, Poland this weekend and we’ll be following all the action, as the Zloty’s are won and lost, here at PokerChannelEurope.com.

A host of poker stars head to Poland, this weekend, clutching their Zloty’s to buy in for the Warsaw leg of the European Poker Tour. The likes of Gavin Griffin, EPT Player of the Year Luca Pagano, PCA Champion Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, William Thorson, Season 3 Warsaw finalist Katja Thater, EPT London finalist Marcin Horecki, Dario Minieri, Alex Kravchenko and Isabelle Mercier are all set to take part in the action.

Last season, German businessman Michael Schulze won this event - and a first prize of more than €600,000 - after beating off competition from over 350 players. This year's third EPT Warsaw follows hot on the heels of the sell-out EPT Budapest event in Hungary.

Some confirmed seats for Day 1a in Warsaw include:

Gavin Griffin , Michael Keiner, Richard Gryko and Kara Scott

Day 1b will feature:

Alexander Kravchenko, Isabelle Mercier, Katja Thater, Dario Minieri, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Luca Pagano.

The EPT Warsaw starts on November 15th and runs until the conclusion of the final on November 19th. Players who buy-in directly will pay 21,000 Polish Zlotys for their seats at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Casino. Currently, 1 PLN = €0.29.
