A total of 280 players turned up to compete on Day 1a of the EPT London Main Event today. As well as American poker legend Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson (playing his first ever EPT) other stars included Team PokerStars SportStar Fatima Moreira de Melo plus Team PokerStars Pros JP Kelly, Ana Marquez from Spain, Jose “Nacho” Barbero, Lex Veldhuis, Arnaud Mattern, WSOP bracelet winner Andre Akkari, Barry Greenstein, Theo Jorgensen, Ville Wahlbeck, Johnny Lodden and Sebastian Ruthenberg. Also playing was new PokerStars Team Online member Mickey Dinsen Petersen.
